< Jan Story about the picture "A few nights before my talk at the Astrological Association of St. Petersburg on Draconic Astrology, I could not fall asleep.  As the Sun was rising, I stared at the beautiful trees shimmering in the dawning light contemplating my upcoming lecture.
Suddenly, I noticed a light flickering, bouncing off a glass teardrop sculpture hanging in the window.  It was reflecting on the base of an image of Goddess Kuan Yin.  The light was shining at her feet.  I said to myself, “Is that what I think that is?”  The image was a cropped black and white Xerox copy with very little detail.  I got up to take a closer look and was astonished to see that she was standing on the neck of of a Dragon!"    Kuan Yin is the Chinese Goddess of Infinite Mercy, Compassion and Healing.  Her name means “She who listens to the Sounds of the World.”   Draconic Astrology offers a unique view into your Soular Life.

Draconic Astrology is a very Ancient System that is now re-emerging into our Awareness.   It is the' Astrology of the Soul'.  The Draconic Chart is based on  putting the Dragon’s Head (the North Node of the Moon) at Zero Degrees Aries.

The Nodes of the Moon in the commonly used Tropical System are major points for Growth, Karmic re-balancing, Lessons and Connections to others on our Soul’s journey through life.

The usually used so called Tropical Chart is considered more Ego Based, whereas the Draconic (Nodal Chart) relates to major Soul agreements with less 'free will' being involved.   Karmic commitment time.  Destiny knocks and is unavoidable.  Dragons throughout the Ages - Dragons Importance in Astrology.

The Draconic System shows a more "Fated" view of events than the regular more "ego" based chart view.  The Draconic Planets/Angles connect to those of the regular Tropical Chart pointing out areas that will be highlighted in the person’s life.  Also, the connections with important people in our lives are beautifully illustrated using this system, plus the timing of events.

What is SPIRITUAL ASTROLOGY?

Astrology is the oldest known, continually existing science on the planet.  It dates back further in history than any other scientific body of knowledge. It is found in all civilizations—ancient and modern, primitive and sophisticated—and in all places on the planet. This is not speculation, it is fact. This lengthy heritage has created not only a massive body of astrological information, but also a vast number of applications and approaches.  However, there is one delineation that perhaps comprises the greatest source of understanding.  That is Spiritual Astrology.  Spiritual Astrology is not an additional scientific subcategory such as location astrology, medical astrology, predictive astrology, Uranian astrology, Babylonian astrology, Eastern Astrology, or horary astrology.   It is a way of approaching the science— a spiritual approach.   This approach may simply involve recognizing that we are spiritual beings.   But in most cases, it involves using one of our spiritual faculties, intuition.   By relying on intuition—our spiritual sense—one can receive deeper insights concerning the reasons for current or forthcoming personal challenges.   These reasons might involve past-life matters, issues that stem from some other period of one's current life, or come from a component of one's overall makeup.   By accessing intuitive-based information, one has a greater opportunity to heal, make life more comfortable/pleasurable in general, and more fully take advantage of potentially favorable opportunities.

Spiritual Astrology is an approach to the existing body of astrological knowledge and applications.   This approach seeks to provide important and otherwise non-accessible insights by relying on the power inherent within the intuitive, subjective facility.   We live in a physical reality, a mental reality, an emotional reality, and a spiritual reality.   The intent of the spiritual astrologer is to integrate the spiritual reality into the other three realities.  

A BRIEF HISTORY
of ASTROLOGY

Astrology is the oldest known, continually existing science on the planet.  It dates back further in history than any other science.   It is found in all civilizations—both ancient and modern, primitive as well as sophisticated —and in all places on the planet.   In addition to such dramatic structures as the Great Pyramid and Stonehenge, we find most of the historic evidence of astrology supporting our heritage contained within written astrological texts dating back to ancient civilizations.   Even a partial account of these written contributions produces a lengthy and cumbersome list of astrological writings.   It would include ancient Indian texts dating to 3500 B.C., Mesopotamian clay tablets as far back as 2000 B.C., even the recently discovered Sumerian civilization from 4000 B.C. maintained accurate recordings of astrological predictions and methods of calculating exact positions of the planets. 

 In 1200 B.C. the Babylonian civilization in its own right bestowed godly powers to each of the known planets and produced personal forecasts according to birth month.   The noted astrological writings of the Chadian civilization around 700 B.C. added additional writings to humanity’s voluminous collection of astrological insights.   Throughout the history of ancient Europe, China, and Egypt the flow of astrological writing continued.    Even Greece developed a unique system of astrological diagnosis as well as predictive techniques based on the exact moment of birth.    And, of course, there’s Egypt.   Dating back perhaps 12,000 years, in addition to utilizing the planets as we do today, Egyptians developed galactic astrology (the use of fixed stars such as Sirius).

Throughout all recorded history, there has always been Astrology. These ancient records are our modern heritage of the oldest science known to humankind.
